The french Federation of Railway Industries (FIF) brings together 83 direct members and over 600 indirect members through clusters. The railway industry generates an annual turnover of over 4 billion euros in France and for exports. The FIF represents all French railway industry players through various professional groups: rolling stock manufacturers, railway equipment suppliers, track and signaling industrialists, digital technology group, and maintenance, retrofit, and modernization group. Recognized by both the government and all users, stakeholders, and decision-makers in the railway system, the FIF is representative of railway industry companies in France. Its main missions contribute to establishing a framework and favorable conditions for value creation within the French railway industry. The FIF, therefore, actively works to support the development and growth of the railway industry in the national and international context, highlighting its strategic challenges and promoting effective collaboration among all stakeholders and actors in the entire railway sector.
